White Swan

Well, we made it to Guangzhou! We got the final paperwork done in Chengdu with no problem today. Had a little difficulty checking in at the airport for our flight to Guangzhou, because they had the wrong passport numbers on our tickets! Jasper's and Austin's were right, but Mom's and Dad's were wrong. Susie had to call Shiyan and get it straightened out before we could check in.

Then our plane sat on the runway for about an hour before we took off.

Still having a little trouble with Austin. He can't communicate with us, so he just whines and has a fit when he's not getting what he wants. He also has this habit of taking his shoes off and throwing them when he's mad. It's very frustrating. Hopefully, that'll get better as his English improves and he can talk to us.

We're also going to have to check with the hotel staff in the morning, because all we've got for Austin to sleep in is a crib - and it's way too small for him. He shared a bed with me in Chengdu, but the beds here are too small for that to work, either. I got kicked in the head enough times in Chengdu.

Got to go to bed now. It's midnight already here, and everybody's worn out from the travel today. I'll try to post some more pictures tomorrow.
